Show some pictures of animals and have a guessing game and lead in new words and phrases. Step 2 Presentation 1. Listen to the first material to put them into the right order 2. Listen to Part A2 and fill the blanks. 3. Chain Game: Amazing things about animals. 4. Help Suzy finish her thank-you letter in Part A3. Step 3 Speak up 1. Listen and answer: How many amazing people did you hear? 2. Read and answer: How many countries did the young man travel? What can the man do at the same time? What kind of picture can the artist draw? 3. Talk about amazing things with your partner Step 4 Summary Animals are close to people. Animals can help people. Animals are our friends, we should protect them. Protecting animals is protecting ourselves. Homework 1. Search for more amazing things on the Internet and share with classmates. 2. Tell amazing things you learnt to your parents.
