The topic of this unit is “Amazing things”. In this “Reading2” period, we will learn some more amazing things and master some language points. The students will use what they will learn in this lesson to act out the story in the book.They can add other details to make their story more interesting. The seventh grade students are not good at extracting some target information when reading,and they are not familiar with language points. So in this teaching period, I will teach students some skills about how to find the main ideas they need quickly and correctly. Especially focus on the Key words in the sentences.

1. To work out the structure of each sentence. 2.To retell the story in their own words, following the organization of the passage and using some sentence structures which they will learn in this lesson.
