Teaching steps: Step 1 preview

.1 Read and try to remember the following words before the class:

Rruler, map, jacket, key, quilt, orange, pen, cup 2..use the sentence structures“What’s this/that?” to make conversations with partners. Step 2 Lead into: 1.Say the words: ruler、map、jacket、key.....

2.Revise the English letters:Aa-Rr Step 3 Prensatation & Listening

1.Listen to 3a on Page S7 and number the pictures [1~8].

2.Listen to 3b on PageS7 and complete the words under the pictures in 3a. Step 4 Listening & Pair work

1. T:Let Ss talk about the things in their pencil box. 2. Listen to 3c,then work in pairs to practise it. 3. Ask some Ss to show the conversation. 4.Listen to 3d and read them. Step 5 Activity 1.T:Look at the picture,then try to make a conversation like the modle. 2.Ask some Ss to act out.
