Teaching Aids：

1.book, dog, car 等玩具实物。

2. 写有新单词

desk, chair, toy box, car及写有对话中词组的彩色卡片。

3. 5 magic hat, one magic wand, 4 rulers。

Teaching Process: Step 1 Warm up （1）Greeting Hello, boys and girls! I am Miss Luo. Welcome to magic class! （2）Chant Where is your mouth?

Here it is. Where is your hand?

Here it is. Where is your ear?

Here it is. Where is your nose?

Here it is.

Step 2 Presentation 1.Teach “desk, chair, on, under, in”

呈现：教师用魔棒点出课件中的四个单词。

T: I’m a magician, this is my magic wand, and now let me conjure something. T: What’s this?

Oh, it’s a desk. 用同样的方法呈现另外三个单词

操练：用魔棒指挥学生大声或小声读。其中有全班读和分组读。

2. Teach “

on the desk”

呈现：Teacher put her magic cap on the desk and ask:

Where is my cap? then answer “

on the desk.”

Show students this phrase card and let the Ss read after teacher. Then put the hat on teacher’s desk , and ask “

Where is the cap?”

Let the Ss answer. Put the cap on several students’

desk and let then answer“

Where is the cap?”. 操练：Teacher’s magic cap is flying away. It flies to different places: on the desk, on the chair, on the book, on the TV. Let students say them out and help teacher get the cap. 3.Teach “

in the box.”

呈现：The magic cap is vanishing from CAI at last. Teacher can’t find her cap, she is sad. At this time someone tell her“

in the box”. So she is happy and find her cap. Now show the phrase card “

in the box”, read and practice several times.

操练：While students are singing English song, passing the box. When teacher say “Stop!”, the student who holds the box must answer the question. Then teacher conjure four magic caps to students. They must answer “where is my cap?”, if right, they can

get the cap. 4. teach “under the chair”

呈现：Teacher’s cap is missing again. Oh, she find it under the chair. Show the phrase card and read it.

操练：抢答的方式回答课件中有关under 的介词词组。

Step 2 Practice All the students watch CAI and answer the question “

Where is the cat?”

（把前面所学的三个介词在此处整合操练。）

Step 3 Consolidation

Activity: Where is the ruler? There are four rulers in the CAI; Teacher let them fly to different group. If student can guess the position, the ruler is for him/her. S1: On the desk?

A: oh, no. S2: Under the chair?

A: oh, yes. S3: In the bag?

A: oh , yes. Step4 Consolidation 1. Watch the flash of this lesson. Answer one question. What is mike looking for? 2. Open books, turn to Unit 4. Read after the tape. Then

answer two questions. Is the pencialbox in the desk? Where is the pencil? 3. Read the dialogue with your desk mates.
