学生情况分析：

学生经过了将近五年的英语学习，已经初步养成了一定的、良好的学习习惯，绝大多数学生掌握并积累了一定数量的词汇与一些重要的、常见的语法和时态，初步具备了一定的听、说、读、写技能，他们有着较强的求知欲和表现欲。但由于学生在校外接受的知识量不同，造成了学生之间的学习差异性较大。

在学习本课时之前，学生已经学习了有关上海历史博物馆的词汇，同时，也学习与掌握了博物馆的信息，能运用句型来描述博物馆的相关内容，能用句型来询问对方最喜欢的博物馆和原因等，这些都为本课时的学习奠定了一定的语言基础。

Unit 3 Story time 5BM4的学习主题为More things to learn（学习更多的东西）。M4是选择性模块，教学内容侧重于文化性体验。这个模块涉及的内容较为宽泛，有不同主题的博物馆（如science museum, art museum, history museum, insect museum等）、艺术馆（卢浮宫）以及西方国家的主要节日（如Christmas, Easter, Halloween等）的词汇学习、背景介绍和过程体验等。同时，还包含了经典的故事（The giant’s garden）阅读。

本模块从中外文化为基点，以“博物馆”和“西方节日”为话题设定学习内容、展开学习过程，不仅注意到了节日内容的更加丰富，而且将节日内容从国内延伸到了国外；同时，对学生的语言能力也提出了更高的要求，从听说读写能力的培养转向听、说、读、写、练、用的全面兼顾。

本模块的核心学习内容包括：（1）复习巩固一些常用的句型（如can句型）用法，并能作出正确的应答；（2）能运用特殊疑问句Which… 来问答相关信息，如：Which museum do you want to visit? 等；（3）能掌握不同主题的博物馆的名称表达、西方重要节日的名称表达；（4）能通过一般过去时态to be的变化和部分行为动词的变换来进一步感受生命的演变以及行为的改变，从而进一步运用一般过去时态。

单元教学任务分析：

本单元教学的设计是在学习了前一单元中呈现上海变化的上海历史博物馆的基础上，根据本单元Museums的主题，创设了上网搜索有关博物馆的知识情景，展开第三课时教学。本课时利用已有的书本语篇，将文本内容分为四个内容，引领学生进入各个学习环节，同时关注语篇的逐层推进，培养学生的阅读能力和语用能力。

第3课时教学目标

1．复习巩固前三个课时的核心内容；

2．初步理解如下词汇：the Louvre Museum, Paris, human history, different cultures, thousands of, most famous, Mona Lisa等；

3．通过捕捉语篇的关键信息来感受、聆听和理解卢浮宫独特的艺术之美；
