Look at me! Teaching contents analysis：

The new words are about the parts of face, Ss may be familiar with the words, learning words is more interesting than learning dialogues for Ss, and the activity "paper cutting" is interesting, too. Students analysis:

Ss at this age are curious about everything, they like activities and games, they are good at imitating, but they also can’t focus on learning for a long time. So I will try to draw their attentions with games or activities. Teaching aims:

Knowledge aims：

1. Ss can master the words: ear, eye, nose, mouth, face. 2. Ss can use the sentences: Look at me! This is my face/ear/….

Skill aims: Ss can understand the directions and act. Emotional aims: Arouse students interests in English.

Step1: Warm-up 1.

Greetings 2.

Show some cartoons (PPT)

Step 2: Task Make a paper face. Step3: Presentation 1.

T introduce a cute boy“TuTu”, Then everybody say“Hello”to TuTu. 2.

(PPT)依次呈现eye, ear, nose, mouth, face. 3.

T ask some students to read the word and correct their pronunciation. 4.

Then ask students to start the paper cutting. (鼓励学生剪出五花八门的鼻子，眼睛，耳朵等等，在动手的过程中，调动学生学习的积极性。) 5.

T draw a circle and ask some students to come to the front, then put on the “nose”、“eye”……on the blackboard. (在黑板的圆圈中贴上一个有特点搞笑的鼻子，一大一小的眼睛等，增加趣味性。)

6．Look at the blackboard, T:“Wow, it’s a monster!”

（PPT同时呈现更多的搞笑的monsters！）

Step4: Practice 1.

（小组活动：小组成员依次指着自己的身体部位来说，把书本知识实际运用起来。）
