本课是冀教版英语四年级（下）第一单元的第五课。主要由四部分组成：In front of , behind Where is 教材分析

Danny ? Let’s do it ! Letters and sounds 通过这四部分的学习，主要让学生在复习Where is ...?时，帮助学生熟练并拓展使用这一语言句型的回答。与此同时，增强学生的合作意识。

就本课的内容，对于四年级学生来说，在他们已有一定学情分析

的用英语询问某人在哪及其回答方面的训练的基础上，在加大和拓展这一内容的训练的同时，主要对学生进行与人为善方面的教育，以提高学生互助友爱的意识。

1.Show the pictures.Learn the new words. T:Where is Li Ming? S:Li Ming is in front of the tree. In front of 是方位介词，表示“在……的前面”。

Ss:She is behind the door. The teacher lets the students say the sentences: The football is on the desk. 教师讲解：in“在……里面”，under“在……下面”如：

The ball is in the box.

They are playing under the tree. 2.Learn the words: he ,she The teacher comes into two boys, say: He is a boy. He is a boy,too. Point another girl,and say:She is a girl.【设计意图】介绍学生的姓名，让孩子们学会运用人称代词：he ,she.

当我们询问某人或者某物的位置时，一般要用到Step III Practice and Production 句型：Where is/are…? They are /He /She is…

当主语是单数，后面的谓语动词要用is;当主语是复数时，谓语动词要用are. 2.Ask and answer in pairs. 【设计意图】多种方式进行句型的训练，让学生在不断的交流和运用中逐渐掌握新知。
