2、句子中没有Be动词,有实义动词时

教学重难点

重点:学会运用陈述句变一般疑问句的方法。

难点:学生容易忘记有助动词时,后面的动词要还原。

教学步骤

Step 1 Greeting

Greet the students as usual.

Step 2 Revision and Lead-in 1.

Declarative sentences

General interrogative sentences ①

Is he Jack?

Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t.

Is this your pencil?

Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.

Are these your books?

Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.

Summary

句子中含有Be动词(is, am are),变为一般疑问句时,常把Be动词提到句首且大写首字母,如果句中有人称代词I,we要变为you; my要变为your,

最后在句尾加“?”。

Step 3 Group work

1. The teacher divide the students into four groups. Then let Ss look at the Grammar Focus. Next ask them discuss in group what they can find. Finally, answer the questions.

2. Summary 句子中没有Be动词,谓语动词由实义动词充当时,在句首加助动词

Do或Does,如果句中有人称代词I,we要变为you; my要变为your,后面的实义动词用原形,最后在句尾加“?”。

注:(1)当主语是第一人称(I, we), 第二人称(you),第三人称复数(they)和复数时,助动词用Do。

(2)当主语是第三人称(he, she, it)和单数时,助动词用Does。

Step 4 Practice 1.

Let students write each word in the correct place in the chart.

Step 5 Game The teacher shows a picture of Bob’s room to students. Let Ss remember the things in Bob’s room. Then close the book and answer the question.

T: Does Bob have a soccer ball? Ss: Yes, he does.

T: Does Bob have a dictionary? Ss: Yes, he does. T: Is the dictionary on the table? Ss: Yes, it is.
