《Lesson 16》教学设计

天津市滨海新区汉沽体育场小学 执教人:周颖

教学内容:人教精通版小学英语四年级下册《Lesson 16》

教学目标:

1.

知识目标:能够正确听、说、认读drama三会单词;能够听、说、读、写science, lesson四会单词,能在四线格中正确拼写,并在真实语境中熟练运用这些词语,进行简单的日常交流活动。

2.

能力目标:能够熟练地正确地理解、说出句子:Do you like science? No, I don’t. I like science. 并把新的词汇融入句子中进行学习操练,并在真实情景、现实生活中运用这些语言。

3.

情感态度价值观目标:能够在真实语境中介绍自己所学科目、用英语询问并表达喜欢的课程、科目等信息。并懂得不能偏科,要喜欢每一个学科,好好学习。

教学重点:三会单词:drama 四会单词:science lesson 三会句子:Do you like drama? No, I don’t. I like science. 教学难点:如何询问学科,在向他人介绍自己喜爱的学科的时候能运用所学的词汇及句子以听、说、读的形式进行简单的交流。

学情分析:小学四年级学生的年龄在10-11岁左右,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏,竞赛特别感兴趣,而且他们接触英语已经有一年的时间,已具有初步的听说能力。

教学过程:

Step 1: Warming-up. 1.

Show a reporter and welcome him to our school. 2.

Show the reporter the classroom and the talk about the lessons and subjects. 3.

Ask and answer questions with the pictures. 4.

Let’s chant. “ What subject do you like best? ”

【Review the words and sentences the students have learned to help them learn a new lesson.】

Step 2: Presentation. 1.

Learn the new word “lesson”. Show their time table and then learn the new word“lesson.”

Then read the title 《Lesson 16》. After that, ask students to choose their favorite lesson and divide them to different groups. 【Make students curious about the new word and help them remember “lesson” better by learning pronunciation.】

2.

Learn the new word “ science ”.

Show the science lab of our school and then read the new word. Make sentences with the new word and play a chain game. Finally, show a video of science and tell them to keep study balanced. 【Show the new words in different way. Help students remember “science” better and make the class interesting. At the same time tell them to study hard.】

3.Learn the new word “ drama ”.

Enjoy a drama and learn the new word.

Then ask and answer and practice the word and new sentence. 4. Play a game. Put the words into different groups. 5. Listen to the recorder and answer the questions. Read the text together and then ask two students to read the text and then act the dialogue out.

【Show the new lesson. Let students learn how to read it by listening and reading, correcting their pronunciation. Make more interaction by pair work and let students practice the new sentences better.】

Step 3: Practice. 1.

Play a game of sentences.

【Train students to remember quickly and review the sentences by game.】

A new dialogue. Ask students to be the reporter and then work in pairs and make up a new dialogue.

【Help students master the language better and improve their ability of speaking.】

3.

A game of praise. Ask students to choose the food (the words of subjects). 【Make the class active and stress the knowledge.】

Step 4: Assessment.

1. Some exercises of language. 2. Who get the most praise?

the students. Step5: Homework.
