一、教学内容：

义务教科书

译林小学英语六上Unit5 Signs Story time 二、教学目标：

知识目标：

1.

能听懂、会读、会说单词：No parking / No littering/ No eating or drinking/ No smoking 2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语：What does it mean?

及回答It means.... 能力目标：

1. 能正确理解并朗读课文。

2. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问标志的含义。

3. 培养学生的自学能力，掌握阅读技巧。

情感目标：

教学过程中，引导学生学会遵守规则，做一个讲文明的人。

三、教学重点：

1. 有关标志的词汇。

2. 句型What does it mean?

及回答It means.... 3. 正确流利地朗读课文。

四、教学难点：

1. litter, restaurant, shopping center等词汇的读音。

2. 利用学过的单词和句型设计标志,谈论标志。

五、预习要求：

1. 充分阅读课文，结合插图理解课文内容。

2. 听录音跟读课文，模仿录音朗读。

3. 根据上文尝试理解生词。

六、教学流程：

Step 1 Warming up and lead-in 1. Greeting 2. Play a game: Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no. T；First, let’s play a game:Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no. If you think it is right,you say: Yeah, yeah, yeah.If you think it is wrong, you say: No, no, no.

【设计意图】：通过让学生判断对错，导入对公共标识的学习。

Step 2 Presentation 1. Learn the new phrases

No parking / No littering/

No eating or drinking/ No smoking T: Can we eat or drink on the bus? No, We can’t. 学习词组: No eating or drinking)

同法学习剩下的词组。

【设计意图】：通过图片给学生直观的感受，从而来学习关于公共标识的单词。

Learn the story time

T: Today, Mike, Helen and Tim also see some signs. Let’s have a look.

First, let’s listen and then answer the question：

Where did they go at the shopping center、

A: Listen and answer Q1: Where do they go at the shopping center? a juice shop/ a book shop/ a restaurant 【设计意图】：阅读第一步，听录音找出他们所去过的场所。让学生把握课文的线索。并且训练学生的听力，学会边听录音边做笔记。

B: Watch and find T: Boys and girls, What signs can they see at these shops? Let’s watch the cartoon ,then answer the question. Q2: What signs can they see at these places? Wet floor,

No littering, No eating or drinking, No smoking T：Can you put the signs into the right shops?

Ask a student to go to the blackboard and match the places with the signs. 【设计意图】：阅读第二步，看动画找出各个场所出现的公共标识。让学生进一步理解课文。并且初步掌握略读的阅读技巧。

C: Read and underline T：What do the signs mean？

Now, please read the text silently, and underline the meaning of each sign. 【设计意图】：阅读第三步，默读课文划出标志的含义。让学生进一步理解各个标识的含义, 抓住主旨。再让学生运用句型：A：What does it mean? B:It means...编对话。进一步巩固重点句型。

D：Read and choose完成书上P50页练习

训练学生学会跳读课文，找出关键信息

【设计意图】：阅读第四步，朗读课文，完成书后练习。让学生把握文本的细节，从而训练学生寻读的阅读技巧。

【设计意图】：通过让学生选择一种自己喜欢的方式读课文进一步熟悉文本，让学生给课文配音增加趣味感。

Step 3 Consolidation 1.

Enjoy some interesting signs

The cigarette holder means that it is the men's toliet The high-heeled shoes means that it is the women's toliet.

This sign means that here are some animals. Please drive carefully.

This sign means that before driving your car you should check whether there was something underground.

This sign means the drivers should drive slowly and carefully to avoid drunken people crossing.

This sign means that the drivers should drive slowly to avoid crashing into casswaries.

【设计意图】：让学生欣赏一些有趣的的标识，是对文本的一种延伸。也激发了学生学习的兴趣。

Design a sign T；Just now, we enjoyed some interesting signs. Do you want to design a sign? Look there is a notice:

Our school is big and nice, but some students still have some bad behaviours. So we need some public signs . Can you design some public signs for our school? You can choose the warning sign or the forbidden sign.

【设计意图】：让学生充分发挥自己的想象力自己来设计标识，。并且培养学生小组合作的能力，手脑并用，使课堂气氛充分活跃起来。
