bag are the other main point. They need to be able to use “I have a/an ... .”to tell their stationary in their bags.As for this lesson, the main points are the words:bag, pen, pencil box, book and the imperative sentences in Let’s do. Students’ background: The students are of Grade 3,they just get to learn English. So, that’s important to improve their interests. They may have known how to greet the others with “hello”, but some of them don’t pronounce good, I will help them to do better.In this lesson, I will use several activities to arouse students’

interests, and make them love English. Teaching objectives: 1、Knowledge objectives: Master the main words:bag, pen, pencil box, book. Be able to understand the sentences in Let’s do. 2、Ability objectives: Be able to tell the stationary in the bag. Be able to play the game in Let’s do. 3、Morality objectives: Arouse students’ interests in learning English. The important and difficult points: 1、The main words:bag, pen, pencil box, book. 2、The imperative sentences in Let’s do.

Teaching aids: PPT, multi-media, stationary. Teaching methods:Situational Approach, Task-based teaching method. Teaching procedure: Step1 、Warm up. Ⅰ、Greeting T: Hello, I’m Miss Zhu. Ss:Hi, I’m ... . Ask several students to greet the others, and make an introduction about themselves. Ⅱ、Review Fill in the blanks: I have a/an .(With pictures after each blank.) Step2、Presentation Ⅰ、Lead in T: Look , I have many things in my bag. Let’s see what they are. Ⅱ、New words learning Lead students to understand bag with the real bag.Present the word on the screen, lead them to read it. T: I have a bag. Take out the other things and use the same way to teach the words:pen, pencil box, book. Read for more times. Reading competiton.Choose the best group and give reward. Ⅲ、Let’s chant. 1、T: Bag, bag, I have a bag. Sing with me . T and Ss: Bag, bag, I have a bag. Pen, pen, I have a pen. Pencil box, pencil box, I have a pencil box.

Book, book, I have a book. 3、Game: Sing the chant by dividing students into pairs. Boys: Bag,bag. Girls: I have a bag.(Show their bags.)etc. Then change. Ⅳ、Let’s do 1、The teacher use the pictures in the PPT, and together with the body language, to lead students to understand the four sentences in Let’s do.Explain the difficult words:open, show, close, carry with the real actions.Lead students to read them more. 2、Listen to the chant The teacher presents the chant with video and does the actions when hearing the sentences.Students watch carefully and try to immitate. 3、Listen and do. Students listen to the tape and do the actions together with the teacher. 4、Try more: The teacher gives orders, students make actions. T: Open your bag. Close your pencil box. Show me your book. ... ... . Step3、Consolidation T: Let’s see , what do you have in your bag? Ss: I have ...in my bag .(Show each of the things when saying the words.)
