Unit 3 What would you like？Part B Read and write 教学目标：

1、能在图片的帮助下读懂两张便条，完成读后选图的活动；

2、能够参考范例，在有意义的语境中填充单词，完成一张留给机器人的便条；

3、能够综合运用本单元的核心词句。

教学重难点：

1、正确运用所学有关食物的单词和句型，表达自己的喜好；

2、能按照正确的意群和语言、语调朗读课文。

教学难点：

1、根据所给单词，熟练运用所学句型表达个人喜好；

2、根据所给信息，完成个性化的便条书写。

教学过程：

一．Warming up 1．Listen to a song. 2. Review the words about food. 3. T: My favourite food is fruits. They’re

delicious.

My favourite drink is tea. It’s healthy.

What about you ? …

S1:My favourite food is ice cream.It is delicious.

二．Presentation 1．T:I know you like the different food, but do you know

(Put the words about food on the blackboard) 2. What can they both eat? Read and tick. T: If you are Robin, what will you cook?

3. Listen to the tape and read after the tape. 4. Show the sentence “My favourite food is ice cream.= Ice cream is my favourite food.”

Then help students try to use them freely. 5. Show the sentences “I don’t like beef but chicken is OK.” and “I like vegetables but not carrots.” The teacher try to help them reading English in correct sense groups. 三．Practice

1. Let students read the passage in roles. 2. Let students just look at the food words on the blackboard and try to describe the food that he like. 3. Make new sentences with the word “but”.

4. Let students write a note to Robin. ( Before they begin to write, tell them the format of the note: title,

text, conclusion and signature) After that, let students read the note by themselves. 四．Consolidation and extension 1. Show the food pyramid. T: As we know, different people like different food.

But if you want to be healthy, you should have a healthy diet. Look at the food pyramid. It is showing that you should eat more foods from the bottom part of the pyramid (such as vegetables, fruits and cereal) and less from the top (for example: red meat, , sugary drinks, ice cream and so on). 2.
