五．教学过程

（一）Warm up and

Lead in 1.利用课前学生精彩两分钟演讲导入课题

2. 幻灯片出示万圣节习俗和照片，学生初步感知

(二) Presentation 1.学生自读课文，圈出不认识的单词

2. 出示词组：make masks Jack-o’-lantern, dress up as from door to door

Trick or treat? 3. 跟录音读课文

4. 小组讨论回答问题：

Are the children happy? What do they dress up as? Why do the children run away? Is it a ghost? What do they see at last?

5. Fill in blanks

It’s Oct. 31. It’s ______.

The children are very ______. They make ______ and lanterns.

They dress up as _____. In the evening, they ____ from door to door.

课后反思

Read的讲解由pre-reading,while-reading,post-reading三部分构成，每一部分都要有“读”这一行为在里面。而我在Halloween这节课让学生读的还不够，特别是在pre-reading这一部分没有读的体现。另外read不光要将文本教给学生，更要注重阅读技巧的教授，让学生学会阅读的策略，教师要勇敢的退，适时的进。在阅读中让学生自己发现问题解决问题，当学生自己解决不了问题时，教师能利用学生的已知来解决未知，提高学生分析问题的能力。在这一课中，我能根据万圣节这一具有西方特色的节日特点，让学生打扮成ghost的形象，重现孩子们挨家挨户敲门要糖吃的情景，让学生感同身受，能够充分激发学生的学习兴趣。最后通过节日这一话题，让生说一说自己所熟知的中西方节日，小组内进行探讨，最后以小组为单位，再上台演一演，充分调动了学生的积极性。
