Brief teaching procedures Step 1 Lead-in Talk about Neil’s photos taken in Beijing. Step 2 Before listening 1.Use some pictures to show some basic information of the Palace Museum. 2. Read a short passage to get more information. 3. Read the poster and finish part of the table in Part A2.

Step 3 While listening

1. Listen and finish the rest of the table in Part A2. 2. Finish Part A4. 3. Finish an email. Step 4

Speak up 1. Listen and finish the table. 2. Discussion: How to plan a day out? Step 5 Activity

Plan a day out in Nanjing for the exchange students.

Step 6 Homework Write an email to tell Neil about your plan.
