一、教学理念设计

本节课的设计以向日葵种子生长为主线,通过不同的生长阶段呈现,引导学生学习相关语言知识,以语篇为载体,在阅读理解的基础上实现语言的积累与拓展,提高语言技能。教学根据小学生的年龄特征和任务型的教学理念进行教学,注重教学方式的改变,关注教学过程,运用电教媒体辅助教学,给孩子们创设运用英语进行交流的情景,注重将话题、结构、功能以及任务相结合,让孩子们在活动中进行交流。寓教于乐,让学生在教师的指导和多媒体的辅助下,猜一猜,演一演,动一动,说一说,合作学习新语言,培养学生初步的综合语言运用能力。

二、教学详案

Teaching Aims:

1. 知识与技能

⑴能在图片和教学课件的帮助下理解这则小故事。

⑵在故事的情境中运用新词汇:plant、leaf、soil、 leaves、flower、seed、thirsty、drink、grow,能正确流利地朗读本课小故事。

⑶在故事情境中尝试运用句型We are ….We have ….扮演种子,说说植物的生长过程。

2.过程与方法

运用整体故事教学的方法,通过教师提问,学生观察、描述等方式,师生共同构建故事,达到理解故事的目的。

3.情感态度价值观

⑴结合教学内容Two seeds渗透德育,了解植物生长过程,感受植物的生命力与活力。

⑵学生在活动中相互合作,体验合作的愉快,在教学过程中培养学生学习兴趣,培养学生积极与人用英语交流的信心与态度。

Teaching Steps:

Step I Warm-up

1.Greeting and free talk:Good morning, I’m your teacher today.

I like dogs because they’re lovely. I like my school because it’s beautiful.

设计意图:通过Free talk ,拉近与学生间的距离,为故事学习作准备。

2.Introduce our school.

设计意图:在介绍中熟悉We have句型,了解there be 句型以及新词汇flower、leaves,为故事学习作准备。

3.Look and learn. Listen and read the new words: leaf, leaves, flower,学习有关植物的新词汇。引出seed、seeds。

T: Where are the seeds? (了解词汇soil)Today we’ll learn the story ‘Two seeds’.贴课题。

Step II Presentation

1. Learn the first part of the story.

Lead in the new story: How are the seeds? Read the sentences in Picture One.

设计意图:围绕问题学习第一段,加动作表演。

2. Listen and answer:

How do the two seeds grow? Watch the video.

Order the pictures.

设计意图:带着问题有目的地听录音,培养学生英语听力能力。整体感知故事,给图画排序,为逐段学习作准备。

3. Learn the second part of the story.

① T: The seeds want to grow up. What do they need?

②Talk about Picture 2: How are the seeds? Read the sentences. Pay attention to thirsty, drink the rain water. Stick the card rain.

③ Talk about Picture 3: How’s the weather?

Sing and say together.

设计意图:围绕问题,讨论分析图片,练说重难点词句,通过简单的填空练习练说,熟悉句型,为复述作准备。

4. Learn the third part of the story.

⑴ T: The seeds drink the water and enjoy the sunshine. What happened then?

⑵ Read and judge. Ss read by themselves and judge.

设计意图:通过练习,整体了解第三部分。

⑶ Read the sentences in Picture 5 and 6.T: Look, what do they have? They have small leaves. The seeds say: Look at us. There are two small leaves on our heads. Read the sentences. Ss chant together.

设计意图:改编枯燥的机械操练,通过chant的形式练读,培养英语学习兴趣。

(4) Look at Picture 5 and Picture 6. What do they have? Then read the third part together. Pay attention to grow.

设计意图:对比图五和图六,鼓励学生读出两幅图的句子,重点练说grow。

(5)Read the sentences in Picture 5 and 6。

设计意图:练说第三部分。

Step III Consolidation

Try to retell the story. 试着复述课文。Have a race and show. 设计意图:整体回顾课文,巩固所学。培养学生语言运用能力。

Step IV Application

Go on watching the video: The power of the seeds is amazing. 设计意图:了解植物生长过程,感受植物的生命力与活力。

Homework:

1. Listen to and read “Enjoy a story” on page 52.

2. Talk about how a plant grows.
