Good to see you everyone. I am honored to give you a class here. At first, I want to ask you a question “Do you often watch movies?” and what’s your favorite movie?

Well, I like action movies and today I want to recommend you an action movie. Now, I will give you some tips and please tell me the name of this movie. Tip1. It is an action movie admired by many people last summer. Tip2. It is an admirable movie directed by WuJing. Please look at the sentences above and tell me what are the words in red and what’s their function? (they are past participle as attribute.). Today, our focus will be past participle as attribute. Step2. Reading and finding Now please pay attention to your worksheet and read the text about Wolf Warrior. When reading, please underline the past participles in the text and think about their functions here. Step 3. After class reflection : In order to give this class, I have prepared for a week and practiced for 5 periods. Now, after giving it publicly, I got different feelings about teaching and learning. First of all, I would like to draw some conclusion about the strengths on this class. 1. The class is effective. Students got interested in it and they have learned how to use the past participle as attribute in real situation. 2. The class has been given smoothly and successfully. By practicing in many different classes, I improved the instructional design for many times. According to the experiences, this class was carried out smoothly and successfully. 3. The class is a good try for this pattern of class. As a period of grammar class, the design guidance for this class is to create a real

context for students to feel and comprehend grammar rules. So there are a lot of exercises in this class and most of them are based on real situation, which make the whole class vivid and practical. However, there are still many drawbacks for this class, Some are out of the design, while some are out of my teaching ability. So I still have a long way to making this class perfect. 1. There are too many tasks for some students and they could hardly follow the class by finishing the tasks one by one. There is too little time for them to reflect and think.

2. My teaching ability still needs improving. I teaching style is serious so that students are scared to make mistakes. And sometimes, I did not give them very clear explanation to the tasks, so that many students got lost in the class. Thus, it is still urgent for me to improve my basic skills of teaching and presenting. Above all is my reflection on this class and I hope I may make the class better and better. Thanks for all those supporting and putting forward good ideas and advice for me.
