第三教时（教科书第

8页）：a bird, a dog, an elephant, a zebra,

二、教学目标

a) 能听懂、会说4个新单词：a bird, a dog, an elephant, a zebra,。能看到（听到）单词就

说出动物的名称或看到动物图片可以说出其英文。

b) 能了解a和an的区别。

c) 通过游戏培养学生对英语的兴趣，逐渐使他们乐于学英语。

三、教学重点

四、教学难点

a) cat ,elephant ,zebra 的读音

b) a和an的区别

五、课前准备

教具准备：课前准备该课四种动物的图片或以多媒体形式出现。

六、教学过程

Step1. Free talk and motivation

T: Hello, everyone!

S: Hello, Miss Xing!

T: I’m Miss Xing, what’s your name ? S1: I’m …

First let’s sing the song ”Hello”. (将Helen该成学生的姓名)Now turn to page 11. 教师可同时板书标题。

Step2. Presentation and practice

（20分钟）

Show a picture of a zoo. Ask students to say it in Chinese.

T: Look! What’s this? (这是什么？)

S: （动物园）。

T：

Good! Can you say some animals( 动物) in Chinese. Then imitate the sound, please.(模拟其声音)。如：猫：miao-miao-miao-miao.

S: Say some animals and imitate the sounds.

T: Great! Now let’s listen : what’s this ?(播放猫的叫声)

S：猫。

T: Very good!

Show a picture of a cat.（出示猫的图片）

Teach the students the word .( Read and spell)

T: Read after me : cat [kAt] 猫 [kǽt] [kǽt]

[kǽt] c--a--t, cat(出示幻灯片，图片、单词（逐个拼写）)

Then ask the students to read this word one by one (or group) Read the chant: cat

cat , I’m a cat.( 拍手打节奏并作出相应的动作)

Then read the chant by groups.(分小组朗读韵律诗)and check them ,if they make any mistakes ,correct it directly.

T: Now listen , what’s this?（播放狗的叫声）

S; 狗。

T: Very good!

Show a picture of a dogt.（出示狗的图片）

Teach the students the word .( Read and spell)

T: Read after me : dog[ [d g] 狗 [d g] [d g] [d g] d--o--g ,dog (出示幻灯片，图片、单词（逐个拼写）) Then ask the students to read this word one by one (or group)

Read the chant: dog

Then ask the students to read this word one by one (or group)

Sing the song : Hello! （将歌曲中的Helen替换成

elephant ，拍手打节奏并作出相应的动作)

Then ask the students to read this word one by one (or group)

Sing the song : Hello! （将歌曲中的Helen替换成

Step3. Consolidation

（8分钟）

在巩固单词教学时，应该调动学生的身体语言。

a) T: Game time! ( Say and do). Do the actions . S: Say the words of animals that they have learned.

b) 进行以组为单位的竞赛，看口型猜单词，看哪个组掌握得最好。

Step4. Homework

（4分钟）

抄写所教的四个单词，中文一遍，英文四遍。
