本课是小学新标准英语（一年级起点）第六册第七模块第一单元的内容。本课谈论的话题谈论数量。

课文通过Xiaonlin, Sam, Amy的对话谈论数字和Are there..?及回答。

学情分析：

对于三年级的学生来说，本节课句子看似较长，但读起来比较上口，易理解，只要把句子结构梳理清楚，学生学习接触起来比较容易。针对三年级学生的年龄特点，本课采取了活动，游戏激发学生兴趣，调动学生积极性，使学生在真实情境中学习，感受所学知识，并真正把它用到实际中。
