1. 我能听、说、认读单词：village 2. 我能理解课文大意并熟读课文。

2. 我能灵活运用一般过去时的一般疑问句结构“Was...?”,并能做出相应的回答。

【教学重点】

1、认读单词village. 2、认读和运用句子: Was it a big city then? Yes, it was. /No, it wasn’t. 教学难点：在情境中能够熟练运用was 或were的问句询问过去事物或人物的特征和状态。

头饰, pictures, computer 借助多媒体出示生动形象的课件，图文并茂，刺激学生的多种感官，最大程度上调动有学生的积极性；用真实人物的图片做教具，让学生体会到学习的实效性。
