Step1:Pre-reading 1.Warming-up Sing a song: Find a Friend 2.Lead-in Show the picture and introduce him to the students. Talk about Picture 1 of the story.

Step2 While-reading First Reading: (1)Picture 1-3 a. Watch the video and answer: Are they a brother and a sister? b. Look at the pictures and answer more questions. Where are they? Where does he hide? (2)Picture 4-5 a. Read and think: Where is Danny? b. Guess (3)Picture 6-8 a. Listen and circle the correct answer. b. Look at the pictures and answer more questions. (4)Picture 9 a. Guess the ending of the story. b. Read together. Second Reading：

Watch the whole story. Third Reading：

Step3 Post-reading 1. Let the students practice to act the story in groups with their books. 2. Act out the story.
