Teaching and learning Goals: In this lesson we mainly learn the seven days of the week.and learn how to talk about Students’ favorite subjects and give reasons.We also learn how to make out a useful learning schedule to save your time. Teaching and learning steps :

一．Previewing

1.Review the words about subjects、months、week.

Brain storm 2.Make dialogues in Section A in front of the class. A:What is your favorite subject?

）二．Warming up and leading in（热身导入）

T: …(name) just says you have many subjects at school. T: What classes do you have today? S: We have English/Chinese,/history .…

T: Oh, so many classes today. What day is it today? T: What’s the date today?

S: It’s (January 7th).

T: Today is (January 7th). But what day is it today?

S: It’s (Monday).

T: Then what day is January 8th?

S: January 8th is Tuesday. T: There are seven days in a week. But which day is the first day of the week? Is it Monday?

S: No, it’s Sunday.

T: Good! The first day of the week is …

S: The first day of the week is Sunday. The second day of the week is Monday. The third day of the week is Tuesday. The fourth day of the week is Wednesday. The fifth day of the week is Thursday. The sixth day of the week is Friday. The seventh day of the week is Saturday. T: Let’s say the days of the week quickly, clapping our hands.
