1.Revision Go over the words and expressions learnt in SectionA. 2.The new words and expressions (1) Let students read them alone. (2) Group leader read, other students follow to read them. (3) Read them together loudly. (4) Get students to learn the new words and expressions by heart. (5) Dictate some of them. Let students check in pairs. Make sure if students can write correctly. 3.1a a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. And then check the answers. b. Get students to write down more opposites that they know. Make sure who is the best. 4.Listening practice

a. Play the tape once. Listen carefully and check the words you hear in 1a.

b. Listen again. And circle the classes David talks about on this schedule. in 1c

c. Play the tape again and check the answers together with students.

d. Listen to the sentences one by one if time permits. 5.Oral practice

Talk about David’s favorite subject with your partner. Then talk about your favorite subject in pairs. 6.Homework a. Learn the new words and expressions by heart. b. Complimentary exercise.
