Step 1 lead in 1. Present Ss a picture of Doraemon. Tell them he has many amazing things. 2. Enjoy a video about Doraemon.

T: what amazing things does Doraemon has? 3.

T: Doraemon comes from the future Earth.

Teach them the new word. Step 2 Presentation 1. Guide Ss to do exercises in Part A.

T: Doraemon tells a lot of fun facts to us. Let’s see what they are.

To help them master the four fun facts and some new words and some language points. 2. Ask Ss to read freely and recall sentences about amazing things.

Let’s read the sentences again.

3. Let Ss be familiar with these expressions.

Close your books and let me see if you can remember the four amazing things.

Fill in the blanks. 4.

Guessing game: to guess what the amazing things are. Step 3 Presentation 1. Practise expressing feelings using the adjectives learnt. Now you have learnt some amzing things. How do you feel? And Write down some new adjectives: amazing, cool, funny, wonderful and interesting.

2. Play the tape about Part B and say to Ss: Kitty and Amy are talking about the fun facts in Part A. Listen to their coversation and tell me which pictures they’re talking about. 3. Ask one student: They’re talking about Pictures 1 and 4.

4. Play the tape again and let students read after the teahcer: Close your books and listen to the coversation again. Try to repeat the sentences.

5. Divide the class into halves and read the dialogue in different roles. Now the boys will role-play Kitty and the girls will role-play Amy. Let’s read the coversation together. Try not to look at the book if you can.

6. make a new dialogue: ues the dialogue as a model, work in pairs to discuss other fun facts. Step 4 Comic Strips

1. Hobo and Eddie are talking about something strange in the sky. Do you know what they’re talking about? Let’s have a look. 2. Listen to the tape and answer the questions:

What does Eddie see? What does Hobo see?

Watch a video and answer:What does Eddie think it isn’t a plane? 3. Open the books. Repeat after the tape and check your answers at the same time.

4. Let’s read this comic together and read in rokes. 5.

Remenber some language points. 6. Work in pairs, one as Hobo and the other as Eddie. Act it out. 7. Fill in the blanks. Step 5 Discussion Suppose we will take a trip by UFO,try to imagine what amazing things we will see .Discuss in groups. Step 6 Translation
