Warming-up

1. Greetings. 2. Sing a song: What’s this?

教一首短歌What’s this?，让学生体会学英语的乐趣和成功的快乐。

Play a game 1. Get one of the students choose one picture or real object in the box, he

only can use his body language, let the others guess what it is. Using : What’s this in English? Is this a / an ----? Yes / No. Can you spell it, please? --- 在游戏的同时，最大程度地调动了学生的有意注意力，在轻松愉快的课堂氛围里，学生的积极性容易被调动，思维容易被激活，还训练了学生听的听力，为下一环节奠定基础。

Language points 1. Spell it, please. 请拼写一下吧。

1) 这是一个用来考查别人拼写（读）能力的句式。用于别人提到的单词，自己不知如何拼写。让对方指出这个单词由哪几个字母组成。例如：

J-A-C-K-E-T. 2) please 意为“请”，常用于一些客套的场合，可放在句首，也可以放在句末。放在句末时，常用逗号与前面部分隔开。例如：

Please stand up. = Stand up, please. 请起立。

2. am, is, are是连系动词be的三种形式，都意为“是”。观察例句，补全结论。

1) I am Dale. 我是戴尔。主语是I时，连系动词be的形式为am。

2) You are my friend.你是我的朋友。

主语是you时，连系动词be的形式为

当主语是he, she, it, this, that或一个人名（如Mike）时，连系动词be的形式为is 。
