The First Period (1a–1c) Teaching aims（教学目标）

1. 能够用英语询问颜色，并能够做出相应的问答。

2. 能够说出一些日常用品的名称。

Language points（语言点）

1.

掌握词汇：名词：color；

名词兼形容词：red, yellow, green, blue, black, white, purple, brown. 2.

掌握句型：

What’s this/that? It’s V.

What color is it? It’s red.

Difficulties（教学难点）

1. What color开头的特殊疑问句。疑问词What修饰color，因此两个词要放在一起，不能分开，回答时一定要落实到颜色上。

2. It’s red. 和It’s a red V. 中表语是否使用不定冠词的情况。

Teaching steps（教学步骤）

Step 1 Warm-up and revision 1.

Do duty report. Ask students to take turns to do duty report (get students to tell a short story) one by one.

Hang the white paper on the blackboard, write the capital letter “A” with a red pen, then ask the students:

T: What’s this in English?

Ss: It’s an A.

T: What color is it? The teacher answers herself: It’s red.

3.

The teacher teaches the other colors with the color pens, repeat these words until students

grasp them.

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Do the same steps of the letters list on la as the teacher did in the introduction. Make sure students know these letters and words.

Look at the picture and write the letter for each color. (Answers: V, S, Y, W)

Have Ss practice the conversations in the picture in pairs. Do 1c. 4.

Have Ss practice their own conversations in pairs. While they are practicing, move around to listen to their pronunciation and intonation.

The Second Period (2a–2e) Teaching aims（教学目标）

1. 能够辨认英语字母缩写的商标等。

2. 能够正确读、写英语字母S—Z。

2. 能听懂、会说、会写大小写字母。

Difficulties（教学难点）

字母U, V, W的读音，以及小写字母y的手写体与印刷体的不同。强调英语大小写字母的书写格式，避免书写错误，做到书写正确、美观。

Ask Ss to look at the blackboard, learn the letters from S to Z. 2.

Play the recorder, ask Ss listen. 3.

Ss read the letters on the blackboard. 4.

Work on 2a. Listen and repeat. 5.

Work on 2b. Listen again, ask Ss to number the letters they hear. Step 3 Writing

Shows the the writing of the letter from S to Z, Ss only look. 2.

Step 1 Warm-up and revision

Call the letters.

（教师打乱顺序将26张大写字母卡分发给26个学生，其中元音字母用红色字体。然后把26张小写字母卡分发给另外的。教师首先说一个字母，学生举着字母卡应答。然后由该学生点下一个字母，按此方式完成26个字母的应答。）

T: Where is big letter A/small letter a?

Sa: I’m here. （学生举着字母卡迅速起立。）

Sa: Where is big B? （持有大小写字母的两位学生同时说。）

Sb: I’m here. T: There are some special letters. Can you find them? What color are they?

S: They are red.

T: You are great. The red letters, stand up, please. What are they?

T: Look at 4a on page 12. Can you find the letters from A to Z?

Ask Ss find the letter from A to Z.

Play the alphabet song for the Ss to listen.
