Step 2.Reading (Ask students to finish tasks in groups while reading)

Task 3:Retell the story according to the time line.

The teacher let students retell the story within the group in the face of group members and then choose one student to retell it in front of classmates.

Before writing, the teacher give students some writing skills. Writing Guidance

After giving them good writing skills, the teacher ask them discuss in groups to find out some useful advice and finish the writing task. Then invite three students to show their letters in class.

It is said that you and Daniel were no longer close, so I'm writing to give you some advice which may be useful.

As far as I’m concerned, to build a good friendship, first of all, we should trust each other. I think Daniel believes you. It is a heart-to-heart talk that you lack. Besides, you are supposed to turn to the teacher for help if you want to keep friends.

I will be very happy if my advice can help you. I hope that your friendship with Daniel will last forever.
