教材处理：本模块主题是：“大自然的威力”。文章介绍了龙卷风，飓风这两种自然灾害。刚刚过去的汶川地震和海地地震，学生都有着深刻的印象，他们对大自然的威力也有所了解。通过学习，让学生树立战胜自然的决心。

教学目标：

能够运用新词汇来描述一场自然灾害。

树立战胜自然的决心，在灾难发生时要学会自我保护。

教学思路：

本节为阅读课。老师首先借助作业中涉及到的自然灾害的图片来导入新课，激发学生的学习兴趣。通过对课文进行快读和细读，并在阅读过程中做相应的练习题，这样学生对文章整体和细节都有了一定的掌握。最后让学生分组表演，就沙尘暴做采访。作业是以作文的形式将课堂上的表演内容写下来。将所学词汇用于文章中，达到知识的输出，提高书面表达的能力。

教学过程：
