Let’s talk和Let’s learn部分通过教师带领学生参观动物园的场景学习四个形容词，并让学生感知It’s (so)...句型的语义和教材分析

语用情景。要求学生能够听说、认读四个形容词，能够理解对话大意，用正确的语音语调朗读对话，并能够在语境中运用句型交流动物特征信息。

知识目标：能听懂、会说、认读、初步书写单词tall, short, fat, thin；能够听懂、会说、认读单词so, giraffe；能听懂、会说、认读句子It’s (so)...

能力目标：能够运用高、矮、胖、瘦词汇和It’s/ He’s/She’s 学习目标

(so) ...句型描述动物或人物的外貌特征，并能在实际情境中恰当运用。

情感态度价值观：了解动物是人类的朋友，知道不随便投喂动物，提高对动物的热爱；引导学生不歧视体型偏胖同学，传递健康生活方式。

Presentation & Practice 1. Lead-in.

Tell students today we’ll go to the zoo.

T: Do you like monkeys? Let’s go to the zoo. 2. Teach new words and expressions.

(1) ① Tell students there are two new friends at the zoo. Show a tall giraffe and a short duck. Distinct them and teach ‘tall’ and ‘short’ in ‘Look at that giraffe/duck. It’s tall/short.’

T: What’s that? Ss: It’s a ... T: It’s tall/short. Ss: Look at that giraffe. Wow! It’s so tall! ② Teach ‘I am tall. You are short. He/She is tall.’, and let students know how to describe a person. Practice by describing Yao Ming and students. Ss: Look at that man. He’s so tall.

Ss: Look at that girl. She’s so short. Ss: Look at XXX. He’s/She’s tall/short.

Teach ‘fat’ and ‘thin’ by showing a fat tiger and a thin monkey.

Ss: Look at that monkey.

T: It’s so thin. Look at that tiger.

Ss: It’s so fat. (3)

① Give a giraffe and a pig and ask student to describe. Ss: Look at that… It’s tall and thin. ②

Describe figures in distorting mirror/magic mirror using new words..

Ss: He’s tall and thin. T: We don’t use ‘fat’ to describe people. 3.Play ‘Let’s talk’.

T: Miss White, Amy and Zhang Peng go to the zoo. They see many animals. Let’s watch their story, and think about ‘What do they see at the zoo? ’

(1) Watch the cartoon;

(2) Listen, point and follow; (3) Read in groups of four.

(4) Check two groups.

(设计意图：运用上学期句型复习动物引入新知；通过不同动物对比学习新词汇，将描述动物拓展到人物在第一人称I、第二人称you和第三人称he、she中展现；以哈哈镜情景检测词汇；通过看动画、跟读和指读，和小组读扎实掌握文本内容。) Step Three
