本课的授课对象为三年级起始学英语的学生，四年级的学生有积极、好动、喜爱模仿、争强好胜，但是注意力难以保持的特点，因而在设计教学过程时要多使用游戏、竞赛、歌曲、小组活动等形式，延长学生的注意时间，维持学习的兴奋点，以增加学习的效率。发挥学生的主体性，让学生乐于学英语，善于学英语，真正成为学习英语的主人。
