Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing 一、教学目标

1、知识目标

（1）学生掌握并听说读写四会单词，man

woman child many people （2）能理解并运用现在进行时态

2、技能目标：能运用本科所学的知识对身边的人物进行介绍。

3、情感目标：培养学生良好的文化意识和小组合作精神，教育学会僧尊老爱幼。

二、教材分析：本课是冀教版（三年级起始版）五年级下册第九课，本课涉及到了一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇，在教学中应该注意帮助学生进行归类总结，形成比较清晰的概念。

三、教学重难点：

1. 使学生掌握单词：men, women, children, people, many. 2. 学生能够正确运用句子：A

young man is singing.现在进行时态和man woman child 的复数形式

四、教具准备：Computer, cards 五、教学过程：

Step 1:Class opening and review

1.Greeting: T: Hello! Boys and girls! How are you? Im very happy to see

you. Are you happy? Hows the weather? Are you ready for English class?

Step2: New concepts: 1.Show a picture ,tell them Li Ming ,Jenny Danny are on the way to the hotel .What can they see ?

2.I am Miss Liu.Nice to meet you. I am thirty-nine years old. And ask the students to introduce theirselves .

3. How many men are there ? Ask the students count together . And guide

out “men women children . Then read and write .

4．Show PPT to the students and ask what are they doing? He is flying a kite.

She is singing a song . 5. Listen to the tape tell me

What are they doing? 6. Read the text answer the questions. 7. Look and match: look at the pictures and choose the sentences. Step 3.sumary Make a summary ,get the students to find the keys of the text. Step 4.Homework 1 Write the plural form of the nouns .
