教材分析

本节课涉及man, woman, child等词由单数变为复数，并让学生体会“There be”句型的用法，结合第一单元学过的现在进行时句型，把两者结合起来描述在北京车站的所见所闻。在教学中过程中教师应该帮助学生进行归类总结，形成比较清晰的概念。

学情分析

通过第一单元的学习，学生们初步掌握了现在进行时态。第二单元的句型比第一单元更多样化，在能力上注重对口语表达能力的提高。学生对可数名词与不可数名词的概念不是非常明确，可以让学生通过合作的形式归纳整理掌握一些词语变化的规律。

教学目标

1.知识与技能：

(1). 学生要掌握并认读以下词汇：people many everyone man men woman women child children

(2). 学生要理解应掌握这些句型: Who are these ? These are ...

What are they doing ? They are ...

2.过程与方法：整个课堂通过单词的学习及表演等环节使学生理解掌握词汇及句型。

3.情感态度与价值观：培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。教师与学生之间交流，情景体验，培养学生热爱北京和热爱祖国的爱国之情。

教学重难教学重点：学生学习不规则的名词由单数变为复数，巩固词汇，复点

习现在进行时。

教学难点：学生能够正确使用主语是复数的现在进行时；复数名词不规则变化的应用。

Step1：

1. Greetings T : Good morning, boys and girls . Ss: Good morning, teacher. T : How are you today? Ss: I`m fine, thanks. How are you? T : I`m very well, thank you. How’s the weather today? Ss:It’s sunny. T :On a sunny day, I want to go on a trip to Beijing. I’m very happy.

Step 2: Present

出示man图,

T: What is this?

Ss: This is a man.

出示men图,

T: Is this a man?

Ss: No.

T: What are these? Ss: These are men.

男女生轮读. 出示woman图,

T: This is a woman. I am a woman,too.

学生读

出示women图,

T: What are these? Ss: These are women.

T: How many women?

Ss: 5 women. 通过手势让学生说出many women.

逐一出示boy and girl图,

T: Who is this ? Ss: This is a boy.

T: A boy is a child.

T: Who is this?

Ss: This is a girl.

T: A girl is a child ,too. 出示children图,

Ss: These are boys and girls. Boys and girls are children. 利用单词，将其men,women和children归纳为people一大类。让学生领读单词，学生们每个人都跃跃欲试想取得领读的机会，学生的竞赛意识更加强烈，更能增强领读效果，最后评出最佳领读员。
