What Would You Like?教学设计

第二课时

教学目标:

1. 能听、说、读、写词汇:a bowl of noodles, a plate of beef, a glass of juice, a bottle of water, a cup of tea, a piece of bread。

2. 能灵活运用下列句型:

1). --- What would you like to eat? --- We’d like…

--- What kind of… Would you like,… or …?

…, Please. 2).--- Would you like something to drink? --- May I have …?

--- Sure. 3)--- Anything else? --- Yes,… /No, thanks.

3、1)、挖掘话题的趣味性,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养其学习英语的积极态度,使学生乐于参与、勇于交际实践的精神。

2)、引导学生注重合作学习,培养其合作意识。

3)、培养学生热爱生活的情操,以及节约粮食的好习惯

教学重、难点:

让学生用今天所学句型进行会话,并实际操练如何在餐馆就餐,将所学的知识融会贯通。

教学准备:

1. 教师准备Let’s learn部分的词汇教学卡片。

2. 教师准备PPT教学课件。

3.其它实物教具。

教学过程:

一、

Warming up 1、

Greeting. 2)、Free talk T: Hello! Nice to meet you! Did you have breakfast? S1: Yes, I did. T: Good habit! But I didn’t. Hi! (to s2) Nice to meet you! Did you have breakfast? S2: Yes, I did.

T:Good habit! But I didn’t. Because I am a little lazy. I got up late this morning. So I didn’t have breakfast. So I’m hungry now. What should I do?

S2: Eat. T: What can I eat?

Where can I eat?

引导学生说出go to the noodle house. (二)

Leading in

T:Who can help me? Ss:You can go the Noodle House. T:OK.But I didn’t like to eat alone. I want to go with you. Do you want to go with me? Ss: Yes. T: Look ! There’s a Noodle House. Let’s go. (假装走进餐馆,)然后说Wow! There’s a menu.课件出示餐馆图片,并同时出示一张菜单。接着说

Oh! So many kinds of noodles. 和学生一起读菜单,并表达自己的意愿:I’d like a bowl of noodles. What would you like to eat ? What would you like? Would you like….?用这些句型和学生一起交流、讨论,训练重点句型并组成一个小对话。如下:

A:What would you like to eat? B: I would like a bowl of noodles. A: What kind of noodles would you like? B: A bowl of tomato noodles. A: Would you like something to drink? B: Yes, a cup of tea, please./ No, anthks.

学生两人一组进行练习,可以根据PPT菜单上的食物进行练习,划线部分的词汇学生可以自由替换。这一环节设置的目的在于此处突破重难点,为后面文本的学习降低难度,打好基础。

二、

新课展示Part A

Let’s talk. 1. T:引导学生训练重点句型。

教师要鼓励学生尽量多的把过去学过的东西与这些短语联系起来使用。

2. 进入Let’s talk. T:You know,I would like a bowl of tomato noodles. Look! My noodles.展示一张图片。做出吃面的动作,然后说:I’m full now.,并表现出饱了的表情,然后问:

Are you full?

Ss: No. T: Oh! The waitess is very busy now. I can help you. I can service you .Now, I’m a waitress. 老师带上服务员的帽子,拿着菜单对一个学生说:Hello! What would you like to eat? S1: I would like_______________.

. T: Anything else?

S1: ………确定了学生的单子后,将提前做好的单词条,作为学生的食物给学生。反复多与几个学生进行练习,渗透Anything else?这个环节,是师生合作进行有效示范,为接下来学生的出场做好铺垫。

最后老师说:I’m tired. Who can help me? 让两个学生来做服务员,分两组继续进行练习。之后,两组学生,一组扮演顾客,一组扮演服务员,再进行练习。

这个环节是想让学生动起来,生生合作,达到共赢。

在学生已经练习得差不多了,我会说:Look! Su Nan and his mom are in the Noodle House, too.展示教学挂图,与学生一起读图。

Do you know what they want to eat and drink? Now open your book and turn to P11, read the dialogue by yourself and then answer some questions. Q1.What would Su Nan’s mom like to eat?

Q2.What would Su Nan like to eat? Q3.Would they like something to drink? Q4.What would they like to drink?

引导学生一起回答问题,加深对课文的理解。

三、

Practice 1.Role play. 分角色朗读。学生三人一组分角色练习,然后在班上表演,老师对表现好的一组进行食物奖励。

2、挖去课文的部分重点词汇或短语,让学生自由发挥,创编对话再表演。最后评选出最好的服务员、最好的妈妈、最好的苏南,上台再自创对话表演一遍。

3 情感教育。课件展示“我光盘,我光荣”的图片,教育学生要爱惜粮食,爱惜食物,顿顿学会光盘。

四、Homework:(omitted)

1、Listen to the dialogue and repeat after it.2、Recite the text. 3、Make a dialogue like “Let’s talk”.
