By learning this content, students can read the passage about the common interests of friends and enjoy the happiness of having friends Teaching key points: a. know the key words of friends.

b. using the main sentences: We both like sport. Teaching difficult points: “Both” and “different” from all usage. Teaching aids: multi-media, cards and a tape recorder. Teaching procedures: Step I. Warm up 1. Greeting: T:Good morning, boys and girls! Ss: Good morning, Miss Song! T:

How are you today? Ss: I'm fine, thank you. And how are you? T: I'm fine, too. Thank you! 2. Revision: T: Now, let’s have a review words+sentences Ss: Ok!

Step II. Presentation: 1. Lead in: T:please look at the ppt, can you guss who is she? Ss: She is you best friend. T: Very good. She is my best friend..... 2. New words: clever, same .class, both, heavy,different. Input: Teacher shows the pictures of the my friend on ppt. Practice:

a. correct pronunciation

b. games

c. group work Outcome:

a. translation between Chinese and English. b. quick response

3. Sentences:
