Task 2: Ask the students to read the passage quickly and answer the question: What

3 : Let the students read again the text careful and find some important details in the text, and then answer the following questions. (Play the slide with the questions on the big screen by the computer.) ① When/Where was the fire? ② Was there a lot of smoke? ③ Why could not Mrs Sun get out of the kitchen? ④ How did Lin Tao save Mrs Sun ? ⑤ How did Lin Tao put out the fire? ⑥ Did he do anything to keep himself safe? ⑦ Was he afraid? ⑧ Did the fire burn Lin Tao? ⑨ How long did he stay in hospital? ⑩ What did people bring Lin Tao when they visited him? Step 5 . Have an interview

First fill in the blanks on Page 83 and read the conversation. Then have an interview in groups. One is Lin Tao , the other is the reporter. Step 6. Discuss in groups What does the writer think of Lin Tao? What do you think of him? Why do you think so? What do you do when you have the accident like this? Step 7 . Homework 1.
