教学设计

教材版本及内容:外研版小五英语 Module9 Unit2 I feel happy.

一、教学目标

1.知识目标:

(1)听懂认读情感词汇:happy,sad,thirsty ,full ,angry,tired ,hungry. (2)能听懂会说四个短语:won a chess game,lost my pen and ruler,helped my grandpa on the farm ,smell nice noodle soup. (3)能听懂会说并运用主要句型:________,now I feel ......来表达自己的情绪感受及询问他人的情绪状况。

2.能力目标:

(1)能灵活运用本课主题句型来表达自己及他人的情绪感受,在日常生活中进行自由会话; (2)培养学生通过参与体验、自主合作、科学探究等能力,探索语言和创新语言,进一步培养和发展学生综合运用语言的技能。

3.情感目标:

使学生通过本课的学习,认识到消极情绪对人体健康危害很大,帮助学生克服消极情绪,让快乐积极的情绪陪伴我们每一天。

二、教学重点、难点

1. 重点:

(1)能听懂会说词happy, sad, angry, tired, hungry, lost, grandpa, farm, chess, smell;

(2)能听懂会说四个短语won a chess game,lost my pen and ruler,helped my grandpa on the farm ,smell nice noodle soup. 2. 难点:能够灵活运用本课的主题句型正确描述自己的感受。

三、教具准备

多媒体课件、表情脸谱卡片、单词卡片、磁铁。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up 1. 观看视频:Sing a song:.

T:Please look ,listen and try to sing.(加动作一块演唱)。

2.由歌曲和当前感受自然引入课题:

T:Are you happy? Ss: Yes. T:I feel happy,too.Today we’ll learn M9U2 I feel happy.

【设计意图】:孩子们生性活泼,边唱边做动作,轻松,愉悦的歌曲能够营造很好的英语学习氛围,使学生的思维和想象力都得到很好地发展。由歌曲内容导入本课话题,过渡真实自然,构思精巧。

Step 2 Learn the new words and practise

1.

依次出示PPT人物面部表情图:happy,sad,thirsty,full,angry, tired, hungry,让学生说出对应表情单词,最后三个是新词,教师出示词卡领读,和学生一起边说句子I feel angry/tired/hungry.边作出相应动作, 【设计意图】:通过复习旧词引出新词,以旧带新,加上相应的动作,符合小学生活泼爱动、模仿能力强的性格特征,在说说演演中学生注意力高度集中,掌握新知高效快速。

2.Chant the words with some actions. 【设计意图】:把所学感情词汇编成歌谣,进一步巩固重点单词。

3.Chant the words by yourself. 【设计意图】:给学生读背的时间,真正把所学单词记忆到大脑中。

4.Play a guessing game:Ask a pupil to come to the front ,let him turn around and do an action,let the other pupils guess: How does he feel? He feels .... 【设计意图】:通过游戏,检测学生是否掌握住表情词汇,为后面新单词在主题句型中的灵活运用打下了坚实基础。

Step 3 Learn the new patterns and practise 1.

借助游戏结果happy导入happy句子:_______,now I feel happy.

T:Today I feel happy,too.Why do I feel happy? Because I won a chess game last week,now I feel happy.

(出示PPT学习happy句子,引导学生看图感悟chess game的意思) I can watch TV, now I feel very happy .What about you? When do

you feel happy? Practise in groups and talk about in our class. 【设计意图】:由游戏猜中的happy,创设情景导入第一个happy主题句子,由词到句过渡自然,通过谈论自己的快乐感受,让学生学会运用句子,讲练结合。

出示PPT导入并学习sad句子:

_______,now I feel sad.

Yesterday I lost my pen and ruler ,now I feel sad. (出示词卡粘贴领读,并让学生领悟单词 lost的意思,同时板书句子)And when I’m ill in bed ,now I feel very sad .When do you feel sad?

Practise in groups and talk about in our class.

3.出示PPT导入并学习tired句子:

_______,now I feel tired.

(1)T:I think don’t be sad,when you feel sad,maybe you can listen to music,read books or you can sing a song.When I feel sad ,I like singing.(师生共唱一段“If you are happy”歌,)How do yo feel now? Do you feel sad?Ss:No. 【设计意图】:师生共唱一段“If you are happy”歌转移了伤心的情绪,并引出tired衔接自然。

(2) T:When I sing for a long time,I feel tired.(由此导入tired出示词卡粘贴并领读)And yesterday I helped my grandpa on the farm all day,now I feel tired.(出示PPT)What about you? When do you feel tired? Practise in groups and talk about in our class. 4.出示PPT导入并学习hungry句子: _______,now I feel hungry. Please look at the picture.What can you see?(让学生讨论图片内容引出nice noodle soup),

When I can smell some nice noodle soup,I feel hungry.(教师做出smell动作让学生猜测意思,同时板书句子并学习)What about you? When do you feel hungry?

Practise in groups and talk about in our class. 【设计意图】:课文四个主题句子之间的导入,都创设不同的情景,承上启下,环环相扣,自然引入,贯穿边学边练、讲练结合的原则,同时注重在学习课文的同时学习单词,做到词不离句、句不离词。

Step 4 Present the text and practise 1.Look,listen and read the passage together. 【设计意图】:播放全文录音,学生同步跟读,在进一步熟悉文本的同时,感受语言之美。

2.Let’s chant the text . 【设计意图】:把课文四个主题句子改编成歌谣,进一步激发学生的学习兴趣。

3.Instruct the pupils to make a new chant.

【设计意图】:让学生编一个类似的歌谣,把所学主题句型运用到生活中,真正的达到了学以致用的原则。

Step 5 Extension 1.T:We want to be happy everyday,but sometimes we feel sad,sometimes we feel angry, when you feel sad or angry ,what can you do ? 2.When your friends feel sad or angry? What can you do for them? 【设计意图】:通过谈论伤心和生气时的做法,旨在使学生学会把消极情绪及时排遣转移出去;谈论朋友伤心生气时你的做法,教导学生学会帮助别人摆脱消极情绪的影响。

Step 6 Summary 1.Oh, I think don’t be sad ,don’t be angry. Sadness or anger is not good for your health. Let’s be happy everyday. We should remember the saying: Smile and the world will smile with you! 【设计意图】:引导学生认识到消极情绪对人体健康很不利,一块学习一句英文格言旨在激励大家每天都能保持一份快乐的好心情。

2.Assessment 看看女孩队和男孩队哪个队得的花瓣最多,成为一朵美丽的花,笑容最灿烂,同时还巧妙地和本课的主旨happy相吻合。

3.Homework Today’s homework. Please talk about your feelings with your friends.

【设计意图】:让学生在课后运用本课所学内容,真正把所学内容内化成生活中的语言,达到语用的最高境界——生活就是语言,语言就是生活。

板书设计:

注:女孩头像简笔画和男孩头像简笔画上面各是带有笑脸的花苞,看看女孩队和男孩队哪个队表现好,给哪个队加上花瓣,比一比哪个队得花瓣最多,笑容最灿烂。
