Unit6 An interesting country单元教案

【教材分析】

本单元的话题是关于一个位于南半球的主要英语国家—澳大利亚。教师可以结合五年级上册Unit6(My e-friend)中国家名称在词汇导入本单元话题。本单元的新语法是一般将来时的肯定句,教师可以利用本册Unit 5的be going to结构导入新语法。为了帮助学生更好的理解和运用一般将来时,教师可以将这一时态与之前学过的一般现在时、现在进行时和一般过去时对比呈现,并设计综合操练活动。教师可以在课前准备一些关于澳大利亚风土人情的图片和视频,作为拓展内容,丰富学生的视野。

【单元目标】

1.能听懂、会说、会读话题和功能:Countries, Talking about the future.

2. 能听懂、会说、会读单词:

5.了解字母组合air在单词中的读音。

6.掌握一般将来时陈述句的构成和用法

7.能了解澳大利亚这个国家的风土人情,并拓展了解其他主要英语国家。

4. 通过学习课文能了解有关澳大利亚的知识。

Step 1 Warming up

1. Let’s enjoy a song. The name is My aunt came back . What is it about?

2. Play a game: What country are they?

3. 引出Australia,揭题

Step 2 Presentation

1. Here are some children. Who are they?

① They will learn a new country. Let’s watch and learn: What country will they learn about?

Teach : will (“will+动词原形”构成的一般将来时用来表达将来的状况或要发生

的动作。)

②读前言。Teach: learn about find out

③ Read and find out how will they learn about Australia.(读课文左半部分)

How will Mike / Wang Bing / Liu Tao / Yang Ling do? (板书)

④ To learn a new country, what kind of way can we use?

Summary:ask sb for help / surf the Internet / read books, magazines…
