1. Greetings

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

T: How are you?

2. Sing a song---Red, yellow, green and blue.

4. Divide the students into four groups: Yellow, green, blue and red team.

Step 2 Presentation

1. 1) Magic! Magic! Show a toy dog and learn the word: dog.

2) Word game: Read and touch.

3) Show some dogs of different colours and learn the sentence:

It’s a +colour +dog.

2. 1) T: Listen! Who is coming? Then show a toy cat.

Teach the new word: cat.

2) Word game: Hide-and-seek.

3) Sentence: It’s a + colour + cat.

3. 1) T: You are so great! I have a gift for you. So cool! What’s this?

Ss: It’s a cap.

Learn the new word: cap.

2) Pass the cap and read the word “cap”.

3) Sentence: It’s a + colour + cap.

4. Look and say.

Step 3 Text learning 1.

Show a photo of Panpan.

T: Who is he?

Ss: He is Panpan.

T: Panpan is a magician too and he will play a magic for us. Let’s enjoy.

2. Enjoy Panpan’s magic.

3. Talk about Panpan’s magic together.

4. Listen and repeat.

5. Read the text together.

6. Ask some students to be Panpan and play the magic.

Step 4 Draw and say

1.Ask the students to work in groups to draw the picture I have prepared. Each

member can choose something to colour. And then use “ It’s a + colour + thing” to describe it.

2. Group show.

1. Enjoy some beautiful pictures.

2. Our life is so beautiful and we can make it better and better.

Step 6 Homework

1. Read Activity 2 on Page 23.
