Module 5 Unit2 They were young.

【教材分析】

语言功能：说明过去的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

语言结构：They weren’t …then. They were …. She /It wasn’t …then. She/It was…. 教学目标：

a.知识目标：能听懂并说出单词： wasn’t, weren’t, clean, dirty 和功能句：They weren’t old then. They were very young. She wasn’t tall then. She was short. It wasn’t clean then. It was dirty. b.技能目标：能灵活运用功能句，并能说明某人或某物过去的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

c.情感目标

通过多种多样的教学方法，使学生保持持久的学习兴趣，勇于创新。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主劝请教。

教学重、难点：

重点：能在实际中运用一般过去时描述人或事物的特征与状态，比较现在和过去。

难点：能准确的读出“wasn’t, weren’t”并能正确的运用。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming-up（热身活动）

1. Greetings

T: What will the weather be tomorrow? Do you kow? S: It will (be)…

3.Chant<> Step 2 Revision and leading-in （复习导入）

1.出示两棵树的图片，用形容词描述。

big -–small, short- tall, young-old. 2.出示图片，运用形容词说说图片。

T:（出示第一幅图片）what’s this? S: It’s a butterfly. T: How about it？（它是怎样的？）S: It’s very beautiful. 师出示另一副图片，说明是蝴蝶小的时候，并问学生小时候的蝴蝶是什么样的。（对学生有所提示，说出It wasn’t beautiful then。）

3.学习新单词。

wasn’t=was not weren’t=were not 4. Listen, point and say activity1. Step 3 New test(课文新授) 1. 听第一遍录音，找出新单词。

2.听第二遍录音，模仿新单词的读音。

3. 听第三遍录音，跟读课文。

3.出示活动2的图片，学习新单词dirty, clean. 5.再次跟读课文两遍。

6.Have the Ss close their book。The teacher show the pictures Look and filln in the biank.

1. 热身环节让学生描述树的过去和现在，描述的比较好。

2. 单词clean和dirty教学时，先让学生反复听读课文，模仿读音，再让学生尝试发音，老师纠正发音，让学生带着任务听录音，给予学生一定的挑战，提高了学生的兴趣。但课后发现这两个单词还是读得不够准确。

3.在重点内容的处理上，配合板书，将过去和现在进行直观的对比，学生理解到位。

4.在练习环节上，出示了几幅对比性的图片，让学生理解then和now，对比性很强，学生说得不错。因为时间有限，没有让学生自由表达，有点限制学生的思维。
