A writing lesson “How to keep healthy”

Review the words about food and describe different opinions about different food.

Make students learn how to keep a healthy diet and write a passage about keeping healthy.

To train students’ writing skills about how to keep healthy.

Step1：

1. Greeting

Free talk

Do you have any good habits?

Do you brush your teeth before bedtime?

Do you do your homework late at night?

Do you go to bed early?

Can you do any sports?

What can you do?

Can you play table tennis? T 总结：I think most of you have good habits and some of you can do some exerise. every day. Good habits and sports are good for us. 3.

Sing a song

T: Now let’s sing a song about “Food”.

T：Well done , boys and girls! Which kind of food do you choose?

Healthy food or junk food?

Ss: Healthy food.

T: Yes . We should choose healthy food.Because healthy food can give us energy and make us grow. So all of us should have a healthy diet.

T 教读a healthy diet并板书。

Step 2：

Presentation 1.

T: Boys and girls, do you have a healthy diet?

Ss: Yes. / No. 2.

T: Look! Here’s a paper bag. It’s from Tom. In the bag, there is a card. Now let’s listen to him.(课件播放录音）

T：Tom’s problem. He likes fast food and sweet food. He doesn’t like

vegetables or fruit. He like eating meat very much. So he is fat and tired.Does he have a healthy diet?

Ss; No, he doesn’t.

Let’s help him. We can give him some advice ahout a healthy diet. We will write a passage about “How to keep healthy” according to our three meals. T 板书写作课标题。

T: To write an English passage, we should use words, phrases, sentences

T: Look!I have some nice flower cards. If you can finish four tasks, you can get one and write something on it. At last, you can stick the card on this tree.
