Unit 4 Then and now(1) 本单元的话题是“过去和现在”，通过对比Mike一家人过去与现在

备课组对本课教学主要意见

的学习、工作和生活等方面，让学生感受科技如何改变生活。教师可以课前准备一些有关生活用品和周围环境的老照片，先从老师的过去和现在的变化讲起，学习一部分新词汇。然后再通过听、读、练、说等方式来进一步学习课文。通过整体阅读、分段品读、寻找重点等方式来理解故事内容。
