I. Warm up and lead in

I)warm up Listen and do the actions. T:Good morning , boys and girls. Can you listen and do the actions well? Ss: Yes! T: Please get ready! Run! Ss: I’m running. (边说边做相应的动作)

T: Swim! Ss: I’m swimming. (边说边做相应的动作)

T: Fly a kite! Ss: I’m flying a kite. (边说边做相应的动作)

T: Play basketball! Ss: I’m playing basketball. (边说边做相应的动作)

T: Wonderful! You can listen and do the actions very well! II) Lead-in T: Oh, you look so happy! T: look! (出示孩子们在公园游玩的照片)Some kids are in the park. They’re happy, too. What are they doing? Now let’s learn Module 3 Unit 1. What are

they doing?(ppt出示课题)

Ss: What are they doing? 老师板书课题。

Activity1

T: Now let’s listen and answer: What are they doing?(Play the tape/CD.) T:Answer the question, please. S1: They’re listening to music. S2: They’re playing football. T: Good job!(Write down "They're listening to music." under the question.)

T: Ask and answer in pairs, OK? Ss show the dialogue pairs by pairs.

T: Now let’s listen and repeat the dialogue of Activity 1. Try to imitate the monkeys, OK? Ss: OK. (Play the tape or CD) II. Presentation I) Text learning 1.Activity 2 T: Look! Who’s this?(幻灯出示Amy照片)

Ss: Amy! T: You’re right. Amy is in China now. Daming is taking her to walk around.

Now let’s listen and find out: Where are Amy and Daming? (Play the tape or ask the Ss to watch the video.) T: Now please answer the question: Where are they? S1: They’re on the bus. T: Yes. (Play the tape or ask the Ss to watch the video.) T: 口技The bus is moving now. They can see the people in the park. (出示人们在公园打太极拳的场景)What are they doing? S1:They’re doing tajiquan. S2: They’re doing tajiquan. S3: They’re doing tajiquan. 老师将句子粘贴到黑板上。

Ss:They’re doing tajiquan. T: I can do tajiquan. Group1, stand up! Can you do tajiquan?(边说边做打太极拳的动作)

T: 口技The bus is moving on. They can see the people on the lake.(出示人们在湖上赛龙舟的场景)What are they doing? S1: They’re rowing a dragon boat. S2: They’re rowing a dragon boat. S3: They’re rowing a dragon boat. 老师将句子粘贴到黑板上。

T: Group1, ask the other please. Group1: What are they doing? (询问其他同学)

Ss: They’re playing chess. T: Group3, stand up! Can you play chess?(边说边做下棋的动作)

T: Group2, ask the other please. Group2: What are they doing? (询问其他同学)

Ss: They’re playing chess. T: Great. Do you want to play?

Ss:Yes! T: Please go ahead. Ss和同座表演下棋

T: What are you doing? Ss: We are playing chess.

T: Good job! Now listen! 口技The bus is stopping. There are two girls. They

are getting on the bus.(出示女孩们喝豆浆的场景)What are they drinking? S1: They’re drinking soya milk. S2: They’re drinking soya milk. S3: They’re drinking soya milk. 老师将句子粘贴到黑板上。

T:Together!

T: Good! Soya milk. (放慢语速,提醒学生注意发音)

关注学困生对soya milk的掌握情况,提问并给予相应帮助

T: Group4, stand up! Drink soya milk, can you act out? Group4: Yes! T: Please go ahead. Group4表演喝豆浆的动作

T: Group3, ask the others, please! Group3: What are they doing? (询问其他同学)

Ss: They’re drinking soya milk. T: Wonderful!

T: Listen! 口技The bus is stopping at the station. Look at the clock. It’s 12 now. Amy is hungry. (做出饥饿状) Maybe she would like to drink soya milk. Daming and Amy had a wonderful tour. But I’

m a little bit confused why Amy is always asking Daming? S1: She is an English girl. T: Yes! You are so clever! Amy is from England. So she doesn’t understand these things. She has to ask Daming for help. Are you clear?

Ss: Yes!

T: Good! Now let’s listen and repeat. Try to imitate Amy and Daming. (Play the tape or ask the Ss to watch the video.) T: Please practice with your partners. Are you clear? Ss: Yes! 2.Activity 3 T: Good job! Now let’s look at these sentences. (出示活动3图片) Can you read? Let’s listen and repeat. Try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation. (Play the tape or ask the Ss to watch the video.)

III.Practice Look, act and say. T: Fantastic! You’re good imitators. I think everyone likes performing, right? Ss: Yes! T: Now let’s play “look, act and say”

OK? Ss: OK. T: Look! Each group has a piece of paper.(出示表格) Please choose your favorite role and write down your numbers. Then practice acting in your group. Now boys and girls, please look at Group 1, let’s see how to do it. Group 1选角色并填表, 练习表演

T: Are you clear? Ss: Yes! T: Please go ahead. 学生6人一组合作练习,老师巡视指导。
