教学过程

I.Warming up 1.Enjoy a song--Nature park Play the song and invite students to sing together. Students are expected to be familiar with the sentence pattern. There is a _________. 2.

Review the five words Show students a map of nature park.

T:What’s in the nature park? Ss:There is a hill. S2:There is a mountain. S3:There is a river. S4:There is a forest. S5:There is a lake.

II. Presentation 1.Present the plural form

T:Can you say? Show students the plural form of a lake: lakes. Then students know the plural form of other four words: A forest, forests A hill, hills A mountain, mountains 2.Present “building”

T:What’s this? Ss: It’s a building. T:Yes, a tall building. Present the word by phonics and practice it for several times. Then play a game: sharp eyes to make sure students know those words. 3.

Present “ Are there any _______ in the nature park?”

T:Boys and girls,are there any tall buildings in the nature park? Yes or no? Ss:No. T: No, there aren’t. Then present show students some pictures, part of which has been covered. Lead those students to ask by target sentence pattern. 4.

Brainstorming. Say anything about nature park. Ss: people, animal, trees, river, lake ````

III.Practice 1.

Listen and answer T: Listen and answer the questions (1).Why is the park so quiet? (2).Are there any tall buildings in the park? (3).Are there any animals in the park? Then check the answer. Invite some students to underline the key words in the text to check whether they understand the text. 2.

Read (1)

Read after the tape twice, pay attention to the tone and intonation. (2)

Read by yourself: star challenge. (3)

Read in roles. Different groups read in different roles. (4)

Role- play Three students a group, and each one play a role. Imitate the tone and intonation. Invite some groups to show their dialogue in front of the class.
