教学过程：

Step 1. Showing teaching aims 1. 能听、说、读、写词汇：pupil, actor, singer, reporter, scientist, police officer, basketball player。

2. 能听懂、认识功能句：Who’s ...? What does ... do?并能准确作答。学会用功能句 ... is a / an ... 表述他人的职业。

Step 2. Review 复习第二单元所学重点词汇

Step 3. Leading-in 1. Review 通过What’s missing?的游戏，复习已学过的职业单词：

nurse 2. Part A Warming-up: Look and choose 教师通过句型What is ... ?引导学生根据本部分的图片进行回答，逐一引出答案：driver, a; teacher, b; worker, c; doctor, d; nurse, e; farmer, f。

T: What is this man?(教师提问的同时,书写句型在黑板上）

S1: He is a driver.(帮助学生用完整的句子进行回答，教师板书句子）

T: What is this woman? S2: She is a teacher. T: What is he? S3: He is a worker. T: What is she? S4: She is a nurse. ... (帮助学生复习What is ... ? ... is a/an ...句型) 3. Part A Warming-up: Talk about the pictures above 让学生两人一组参考本部分的对话范例，就上面Look and choose部分所给的图片进行对话练习。

1. 教授单词pupil

课件出示一位女生的照片并提问：

T: What is she? S: She is a student.（引导学生回答）

T: She is a student in a primary school.

She is not in a middle school.

So she is a pupil, too.

You’re all pupils.(小学生）

2. 教授单词actor和功能句Who’s that man?并逐步引出另一个功能句What does he do? 课件出示成龙的照片。

T: Who’s that man? 课件同步出示课文标题，教师领读并板书在黑板上。

Ss: He is Cheng Long. T: He can act. What does he do?(让学生大致猜测这个问句的意思) Ss: He is an actor. 课件出示单词actor, 用醒目的颜色出示or, 并领读actor。

T: He is an actor. Here is a letter a, and its pronunciation is [æ].(为学生稍作解释：在元音音素前需用冠词an) T: Who else is an actor? 引导学生用... is an actor.来表述更多他们知道的演员，当学生说到女

性演员的名字时，教师适时拓展单词actress。

S: Zhao Wei is an actor. T: No, Zhao Wei isn’t an actor. She is an actress.Zhao Wei is a woman, so we should say “actress”. Cheng Long is a man, so we should say “actor”. 3. 教授词汇basketball player 课件出示篮球明星姚明的图片。

T: Who’s that man? Ss: He is Yao Ming. T: Yes, he is Yao Ming. He can play basketball very well. 课件出示句子，重点引导学生说出短语play basketball。

T: He is a basketball player. 课件出示basketball player，在play后面用红色加上er，并领读。

T: What is he? Ss: He is a basketball player. 4. 教授单词scientist T: Who’s this man? 课件出示爱因斯坦的图片和单词scientist，用醒目的颜色呈现ist。

Ss: He is Einstein. T: What does he like? Ss: He likes science.（引导学生回答）

T: Yes, you are right. He likes science, and he is a scientist.

5. 教授词汇singer，reporter，police officer 1) 课件展示王菲唱歌的图片，教授单词singer。

T: Who’s that woman with short hair? Ss: She is Wang Fei. T: What can she do? S: She can sing songs.（引导学生回答）

T: Yes. She can sing songs well. She is a singer. 2) 课件展示白岩松的照片，教授单词reporter。

T: What does he do? Ss: He is a reporter.(引导学生回答，并领读reporter）

3) 教授词汇police officer. T: What does he do?（课件出示警官的图片进行提问）

Ss: He is a policeman.（学生用已经学过的词汇进行回答）

T: Yes. He is a policeman. And he is a police officer. Step 5 . Consolidation and Practice 1. 教师带读Let’s learn部分的词汇。

2. 通过Game: Quick response和Remember: What’s this?复习

Let’s learn部分的词汇。

3. 按汉语提示完成下列各题。
