It’s soft.’

Teaching progress: Step 1: Sing songs

ABC ;

Apple Tree ;

Eyes and ears ;

Tall and short ; Step 2 : Greeting

Teacher : Good morning , boys and girls .

Students : Good morning , Miss Guo.

T : How are you ?

S : I’m fine , thank you . And you ?

T : I’m fine , thanks . Nice to meet you .

S : Nice to meet you too . Step 3 : Listen and enjoy .

Listen carefully . Joe has many toys in his garden. Let’s see what they are?

T : Oh , what can you see ？

S : I can see a ball . / a robot . / a car ./ a toy bear .

Look , I have a box here . There are many things in the box . Do you want to see ? Do you want to touch them ?

Step 4 : New words and sentences.

touch :

do actions , and show what touch is , let’s play together.

Play a game:

Ask six students to come to the front of the room, then do actions. ( touch your eyes, touch your ears , touch your mouth , touch your leg , touch your foot , touch the door, touch the blackboard ……)

Show pictures and ask students to answer:

Touch the car ; Touch the ball ; Touch the toy bear ; Touch this .

feel :

Ask students to touch the toy bear and the apple , then ask them “How does it feel ?”

feel : show four pictures and express

I feel happy . / I feel sad . / I feel tired . / I feel hungry. ( at the same time ,do the actions )

The toy bear is soft .

The apple is hard.

soft : Show some things that are soft . ( Play a game: Wood people .---Teacher stand opposite students ,all students say feel after teacher , when the teacher look back ,students do actions what they are.

hard : touch your desks “ It is hard. ”

Say ‘hard ’ at the same time clap your hands .

Step 5 ：have a match with the new words. 1.

soft , hard . Look at the pictures , and answer quickly ,’It’s soft. / it’s hard.’

touch , feel , soft , hard . have a match in English and in Chinese.

Step 6 : Listen and say ( the text)

First ,look at the pictures ,and guess what they are talking.

Second , listen to the video.

Third , ask students to perform the dialogue.
