教材分析

本单元的中心话题是谈论人的能力。本课时的内容是围绕情态动词can展开丰富的教学活动。Can是学生在四年级的时候就学习过了，这课通过学习，学生能准确地说出能力的好坏，培养学生能发现自己的长处和短处，也能发现别人的长处和短处的能力，从而懂得向他人学习。

学情分析

本课的教学对象是五年级第一学期的学生，通过两年的英语学习，学生已经具备一定的英语基础，学生们愿意用已经掌握的知识进行英语表达。如本课他们之前已经学过can和各种运动的名称，为本课学习进行铺垫。

教学目标：

1、知识与技能目标：

⑴能听、说、读、写can, team, well, really, good at, catch, goalkeeper, think, fantastic和fan 10个单词;

⑵能够运用Can you……?句型向他从询问并做出答复。并能口头运用I/You/She/He can catch the ball（not very）well 等这类语句描述自己及他人的能力。

2、过程与方法目标：

（1）教师用图片为学生提供单词学习的语境；

（2）教师用图片和影片进行词汇的教学，尽量使学习贴近生活；

（3）教师通过引导学生看图片，跟读句子，判断对错，口说手做，游戏等多种活动，让学生能听，说，读can, team, well, really, good at, catch, goalkeeper, think, fantastic和fan 10个单词，并能用can对同学的能力进行提问；

（4）教师通过口说手做和我做你猜等活动，使口头语言和身体语言

结合，学生能在轻松、愉快的的环境中感知与巩固语言知识。

3、情感态度与价值观目标：

⑴通过一系列的课堂活动和操练，学生能养成良好的学习习惯；

⑵通过各种活动，学生能不断体验到成功与进步，树立自信心，激发学习英语的兴趣和动力；

⑶通过活动中创设的真实环境，学生能将知识用于生活；

⑷通过本课的知识的学习，学生能通过自评、互评、他评，正确认识自己，促进自我发展。

教学重点

能听、说、读、写can, team, well, really, good at, catch, goalkeeper, think, fantastic和fan 10个单词，并理解意思。

教学难点

1、能用can对自己和他人的能力进行描述；

2、能够运用Can you……?句型向他从询问并做出答复。并能口头运用I/You/She/He can catch the ball well/badly 等这类语句描述自己及他人的能力

教学方法

通过图片呈现、影片呈现，做小游戏，做对话练习等活动来训练学生听、说、读、写的能力，让学生在丰富的教学活动中进行探究性学习，从而提高自己的语言运用能力。

S: Yes. / No. 设计意图：通过图片设置真实语境学习单词，学生印象会更深，也逐渐的引发他们学习的兴趣。
