Module 5 Unit 2 There are forty.

教材分析：

本课的教学内容是外研版新标准英语（三年级起始用）第五册第五模块第二单元There are forty。学生已在第一单元中进行了20以内数字及There be 句型的学习。本课通过询问Lingling班级学生数，引导学生学习100以内整十的数字，并学会用There be句型描述周围事物的数量。

学情分析：

学生在三年级时已对1-9数字做到熟练掌握，并且在上一单元也对10-20以内的数字进行学习练习，为这个单元的学习做了充足的铺垫。

教学方法：

三疑三探教学法、情境教学法、小组合作学习法

教学目标：

1.

知识目标：能听懂、认读新单词thirty/forty/fifty/sixty/seventy/eighty/ninety /happily/many；能准确发音，并能区分以-teen和-ty结尾的十几和整十的区别。

2. 能力目标：能运用句型“there is/are……”描述周围事物的数量。

3. 情感目标：通过对本课的学习，培养学生学习英语的积极性，敢于开口表达。

教学重点：词汇学习新单词thirty/forty/fifty/sixty/seventy/eighty/ninety/happily /many；句型操练：

“ There are…… ”

教学难点：指导学生能准确发音，并能区分以-teen和-ty结尾的十几和整十的区别；能流畅的表达1~100以内的数字。

五分钟口语训练：

内容：How many ... ? There is/ are... 主持：英语科代表

形式：举手问答

教学过程：

Step1:Warming up（课前热身）

Greeting：Let’s sing a song. T :Hello,boys and girls! Are you happy today? Let’s sing a song, ok?

（师播放《counting bananas》歌曲，学生们一起边唱歌边做动作。）

Step2:Lead in（课文导入）

1、设疑自探

T：Look at these words. What can you think about? Ss：boys, girls, desks, chairs...

T：And have you got any questions about these words?（引导学生提出问题“How many... are there?”）

2、每个学习小组根据问题找出相应的数量，引导学生表达物品的数量“There are twenty/ thirty/ fifty....”

3、质疑再探

T：我们学习了20，30，40，50，Do you have any questions about these numbers?（引出其余的整十数字单词forty，sixty，seventy，eighty，ninety）

They are numbers. 4、Game：Look and say.

Step3: Presentation（课文呈现）

1、PPT展示几幅图片，师问：How many ... are there? 生答：There are... 2、T：How many pupils are there in your class? Ss：There are fifty-six. 师再问：How many pupils are there in Lingling’s class? 3、全班齐读课文。

Step 4: Practice（拓展运用）

1、Point, ask and answer.

2、小组展示。

Step 5:Summary（课文小结）

1、T：Are you learning happily today? 2、Let’s chant.

Step 6:Homework（家庭作业）

1、Play the numbers game with your friends. 2、Make a survey of families.
