【学习过程】

Step1 Free Show

In this part, the students are required to show something that is related to English. Such English poems, English songs and so on. That is to say, students can show whatever they want in English. The highlight of this part are the movie soundtrack and the two-man act. They can show in groups, in pairs or individuals. And then have some students show in front of class.

Step2 Required Show/Recitation Show In this part, the students are required to show some sentences which they have recited before. What’s more, students are also requested to say loudly and clearly. While reciting, other students should listen carefully and attentively. Students can challenge other groups or individuals freely.

Step3 Challenge Show

In this part, the students are required to talk about a given topic in groups----A letter about our hometown.

Try to use some advanced sentences, such as emphasis sentences, inversion sentences, Attributive clauses, Noun clauses and so on. The scores are given according to what kind of sentence that students use in their compositions. 1. Brainstorm: Show Ss a video about our hometown ---Jingzhou. Give students 3 minutes to talk about something about the topic and let them try to write down some key words and phrases. 2. Have some volunteers write down their excellent paragraphs on the blackboard. 3. Let Ss correct their passages in pairs or groups.

Step4 On-Site Evaluation (2 minutes)

In this part, the teacher will ask the English monitor to assess the performance of each group in class. The English monitor will announce the excellent individuals and groups.
