教学流程：

Step 1 Lead-in

First I will arouse the students to have an interest to visit Xiamen, then show the students some pictures and let them say what their impressions of Xiamen.

Step 2 Listening

Show the students a flash and ask them to listen to it carefully. After listening, ask them to do the exercises.

Step 3 Reading This time, students should read the passage carefully. Then they will have a competition for the detailed information of the passage. Three of the five groups will have the chances to answer the questions. And at this time, other students will correct the mistakes.

Step 4 Speaking

In this part, the students will use the sentences and words learnt in the passage to describe Xiamen. And through a comparison, they should also use these sentences patterns to describe their hometown. Then a news conference will be held to arouse them to love their hometown.
