Knowledge: To help the students describe a person by using long and complicate sentences. To help the students know something about Kobe Bryant. 2.

Skill:

To help the students train their writing skill. 3.

Moral: To help the students know the importance of diliengence and to be kind. II.Key and difficult points: 1.

The usage of different sentences in expressing the same meaning. 2.

The usage of some words and phrases(championship, devote onself to doing sth., charity)

III.Teaching procedures: Step1 lead-in Show a pohoto of Kobe Bryant and ask the students how much they know about Kobe Bryant. Step 2 Discussion

Show some information of Kobe Bryant in Chinese then ask the students to discuss with their partners. Then ask some of them to introduce Kobe Bryant by using their own words. Step3. Lead the students to use complicate sentences. Step4. Students write a cmplete essay. Step5. Show some works of the students and find their mistakes. Step6. Show the sample version and let the students tell what useful structures they have learned in the version. IV. Assignment
