The problem of the snakes（Reading）

英语课程内容是发展学生英语学科核心素养的基础。包含六个要素，主题语境、语篇类型，语言知识、文化知识，语言技能和学习策略。课程内容的六个要素，是一个相互关联的有机整体。具体而言，所有的语言学习活动都应该在一定的主体语境下进行，即学生围绕某一具体的主题语境，基于不同类型的语篇，在解决问题的过程中，运用语言技能获取、梳理、整合语言知识和文化知识，深化对语言的理解，重视对语篇的赏析、比较和探究文化内涵，汲取文化精华；同时，尝试运用所学语言创造性地表达个人意图、观点和态度，并通过运用各种学习策略，提高理解和表达的效果，由此构成六要素整合指向学科核心素养发展英语学习活动观。

2.教学背景分析

“The problem of the snakes”是一篇记叙文。讲的是一个女孩儿如何通过多次尝试，最后成功地把在他母亲家院子里安家的一窝蛇捉住并放归大自然

的，她的捕蛇技术申请了发明专利，文章也提到了申请专利的标准。

教学内容分析

文章主要写作目的是再现经历和传递信息。通过描述生活中一项具体发明产

生的全过程以便读者了解发明产生的步骤。

该文是一篇记叙文。其明线是按事情起因经过结果再现作者的发明经历；暗线则是以发明家为了让其发明得到认可所必须通过的六个程序来谋篇布局。

在高一一年英语学习的基础上，高二学生在一定程度上已经掌握了略读、跳读、识别关键词、确定主题句等阅读微技能。但学生对于发明得到认可所要经历学生情况分析

的的六个程序并不了解。学生可以读懂故事内容，但需要教师引导才可以意识到解决问题过程中反复尝试的重要性。

3.教学目标

通过这节课的学习，学生能够：

了解发明产生的过程和专利认定的标准并学会利用专利认定标准判断某项发明是否可获得专利。

2.

学会作者在发明创造过程中解决问题的方法。

3.

意识到为改善解决方法而进行反复尝试的精神的重要性。
